2011 Mitsubishi Pajero, New Appearance

The Pajero is an off-roader and a legend in its own right. In the year 2007, it received a major facelift with a new interior and was available as a three-door and a five-door. The standard ActiveTrac package includes rear-wheel-drive, full-time all-wheel-drive, and high- and low-range all-wheel-drive with locking center differential.

The three-door, short-wheelbase Pajero seats five and the long-wheelbase model seven, with third-row seats that fold into the load floor or can be removed entirely. Standard features include an RV meter that displays temperature, time, date, compass, pressure, altitude, and service intervals. Also standard are a 6-speaker cassette, automatic climate control, dual front airbags, keyless entry, power windows and mirrors and 16-inch alloy wheels. The top model gets a 6-disc CD changer, synthetic wood interior, sunroof, front and rear automatic air conditioning, traction control, ABS with EBD, cruise control, air conditioning, leather seats leather and 17 inch wheels. Only the top-of-the-range 3.8 models are equipped with side airbags.

The 2011 Pajero 2.5 receives a new VG Turbo engine which would be more powerful and efficient. The 2500cc 4D56 turbodiesel diesel engine produces 178hp at 4000rpm and 350Nm of torque at 1800-3500rpm. Mitsubishi Motors Thailand claims to be the most powerful engine in Thailand. In fact, this engine is more powerful than the Pajero Sport sold in Indonesia.

"To achieve higher performance and more environmentally friendly vehicles, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has decided to reduce the production of the vehicle. We will discontinue the car and focus on the 3200cc engine with the 2500cc engine, the advanced technology used in Pajero and Triton sports,” said MM Chairman Nobuyuki Murahashi.

In comparison, Pajero Sport engine sold in Indonesia, 4D56, DOHC, air-cooled, turbocharged common rail, 4-cylinder in line, 2500 cc, 136 hp and 314 Nm of torque.
